Spyware Removal Tools

Got a lot of pop-ups on your computer lately? Even when you're not surfing the web? Congratulations! You've got spyware!

So what can you do about it? Well, you could call me. Or you can try your hand at these programs to remove them - I use them myself, sometimes both, getting rid of this junk. Unfortunately, on bad infections, it sometimes takes someone like me to get rid of them entirely.
Here they are:

Spybot Search & Destroy, (free for private use, donor supported).

Ad-Aware - (free for private use, they sell a version as well)

You should update their databases before each use (they will prompt you to do so when you install them).

Here's a list of known spyware type programs. If you have something on this list in your computer, you should definately remove it by using of the above programs (or have us do it!)
