If you need to send notices to a bunch of people, in your Outlook, or from a spreadsheet, or whatever, there are a number of ways to do it. One way is to just send out a massive CC to everyone. Not only will that overload your internet connection, however, but it will also almost certainly get you tagged as a spammer, with potentially disastrous results. Not to mention all those bounced emails coming back from bad addresses, etc.

     So what can you do?

Well, there are a lot of email marketing programs and sites out there - many of which are spammer tools. If you want a legitimate system that actually goes out of its way to make sure you're not a spammer, and that your messages don't get tagged as spam, consider Vertical Response - I use them myself to send out notices to service and web clients. I get a commission from them if you sign up thru this link - it's not much, but I like to be up front about any product I recommend that I get something back on.

     The fees are extremely cheap, and get better as you send more in a given mailing. Prices start at 1.5 cents per email. It's really pretty easy to do, with nice tools that they provide on the site. If you want to get really advanced, you can do your own HTML code - or have me do it for you!
